Claire was first elected May 17, 2005 as the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for North Island and was re-elected May 12, 2009. She presently serves as the Opposition critic for the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
As a member of Her Majesty's Official opposition, Claire represents the North Island, standing up for constituents and bringing forward concerns from the communities.
